Customer reviews:

"Outstanding stuff- very strong and VERY sticky. This is very similar to the stuff called centerline tape I used in the Air Force years ago. It is dramatically superior to any coax sealer or sticky nasty mess that I've used in the past 30 years. This is actually enjoyable to apply and no sticky residue or mess whatsoever. It wraps even tight areas and angles with ease and stays where you wrap it without coming loose. I used this to fix a leak on my hot water heater hose, save me $$ cause i did not have to ask a plumber to fix. Highly recommended !!!"- Riley ★★★★★

"I noticed some drips on the floor and realized that the slow drip was coming from the upstairs bathroom drain pipe from the tub and sink. So, I was thinking -- do I need to call an expensive plumber? Let's avoid this if possible. I did some online research and found many solutions (including the usual cut and re-pipe--yuk!), but I wanted the most simplest one first. I found a video that showed someone using this type of self-fusing silicone tape (different brand) to stop a pin hole leak in a brass pipe under a sink. Looked very easy. I did more research and found that a lot of people liked this tape. What the heck -- I ordered it! I wrapped the pipe several times carefully covering a 2" span around the drip. Actually, the first time, I did not cover enough and a tiny drip seeped thu since it did not have time to self-fuse. Then, I wrapped more tape to reinforce and so far it has been several days with no issues. I will keep an eye on it. The end result is a tightly wrapped pipe, where the tape has self-fused (kinda like heat shrink wrapping, but no heat is needed for this tape).
Just some pointers: *do not let the tape double up as your wrapping as you may never get it apart and end up with a jumbled ball of tape (ugghhh!); *pull tightly as wrapping--the tape stretches; *if necessary, the tape may be cut off later with a blade--there is no glue on this tape; *the final end piece should be self-overlapping so it is not left to unwind--it will also self-fuse too--it just needs the initial time to do so. (I placed a piece of duct tape over the end just for that purpose.). Ordering more just in case ...lol..." - Sara Sue ★★★★★
